Housegroups
What is a housegroup…
A time to bring together people who have the same interests, challenges, or life stages. They create a shared bond that can strengthen the church. Members of a small group can develop close relationships with each other and provide emotional support and accountability.
We hold 3 housegroups at present, trying to cater for everyone. Monday evening housegroup is held at Stokes End in Haddenham 7.30 – 9pm and is generally led by our minister, Jonny Fillis.
The Thursday housegroup meets fortnightly at the Manse, 7.30 – 9pm, and then we have a fortnightly afternoon housegroup which meets at The Croft in Haddenham 2.30 – 4pm.
These groups discuss many different aspects of church, specific texts from the Bible, current issues which affect church, and analyse themes from the previous Sundays sermon and look at the themes for the Sunday to come. There is time for pray, reflection and fellowship.
Generally they meet during term time but accurate information can be found in the weekly newsletter.
